Inspired by the sounds of Ableton's pianos, I struck out on building an album around the DMaj9 chord. It did not pan out. But what did was many piano jams, improvs, and mess arounds. Embedded in songs like Awhile More is a first take piano jam, wrapped around swirling synthetic noise. Elsewhere, multiple projects with a sole good idea were mashed together for more semi-coherent forms, as found on Mired.
